- Monthly cloud spend by service, and what drives it.
- Backup and restore process, and when it was last tested.
- Uptime history and the top incidents with their fixes.
Security
- How authentication and roles work.
- Where secrets live and who can access production.
- Results of any security review and what was fixed.
- How customer data is separated between tenants.
Team and process
- Org chart with roles, tenure and key-person risks.
- How work is planned, reviewed and released.
- On-call and incident process.
- Hiring plan for the next 12 months.
Have these documents ready
- Architecture overview (one page).
- Data flow and data retention summary.
- Cloud bill for the last three months.
- Incident log and post-mortems.
- Roadmap with engineering estimates.
